LOS ANGELES: Hollywood actor and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was hailed from all quarters for shutting up an internet troll who mocked the Special Olympics, on Facebook.
Nobody ever knew Arnold Schwarzenegger could be so on-point and potent when it comes to dismissing trolls. Schwarzenegger posted a video of himself with participants of the Special Olympics on Facebook on which a user posted a rather derogatory comment, referring to them as ‘retards’.
The comment caught the eye of the Terminator and apparently, not in a good way. In one comment, Schwarzenegger destroyed the person, labeling him a ‘sad, pitiful, jealous internet troll’.
“Right now, I guarantee you that these athletes have more courage, compassion, brains and skill – actually more of every positive human quality than you,” commented the actor.
“So take their path – you could learn from them, and try to challenge yourself, to give back, to add something to the world,” he added.
He concluded the comment with a very insulting remark which was sugarcoated rather expertly.
“I know what you really want is attention, so let me be clear: if you choose to keep going this way, no one will ever remember you,” he commented.
Needless to say, the actor’s comment garnered well over 150 likes and became news everywhere. Good of the Terminator to stand up for what’s right!
